为了推动摩托车行业技术进步,进一步规范企业生产行为,提高产品品质,针对摩托车的安全、环保、防盗和节能等项目,国家机械工业局行业管理司向有关摩托车整车制造厂、摩托车配件企业下发了关于摩托车的十七项设计规则。这十七项设计规则是由国外相应技术法规转化而来的,是国外普遍采用的摩托车产品型式认证的技术依据。

The seventeen design rules are derived from the corresponding foreign technical regulations and are the technical basis for the type approval of motorcycles commonly used in foreign countries.
