发展是妇女工作的主题。多年来全国妇联围绕“双学双比”和“巾帼建功”两大主题活动开展城乡妇女工作,取得了巨大成就。进入新世纪,党的十六大规划了全面建设小康社会的宏伟蓝图,中国妇女九大向全国妇女发出了“创造新岗位,创造新业绩,创造新生活”的号召。为此全国妇联发展部提出了“服务大局,服务妇女,服务基层”的口号,确定了今后5年妇女发展工作的总体思路和基本目标,决心构建城乡妇女发展的新平台。
Development is the theme of women’s work. Over the years, the All-China Women’s Federation has made great achievements in carrying out the work of urban and rural women on the two major themes of “double-study and double-ratio” and “promotion of women’s honor and health”. In the new century, the 16th National Congress of the CPC has laid out the grand blueprint for building an overall well-to-do society. The nine women in China have issued the call of “creating new posts, creating new achievements and creating new lives” for women across the country. Therefore, the All-China Women’s Federation Development Department has put forward the slogan of “serving the overall interests, serving women and serving the grassroots” and has determined the overall mentality and basic goals of women’s development in the next five years and is determined to build a new platform for the development of women in urban and rural areas.
