有个外星大脚怪很喜欢到地球探险。他不喜欢那些有很多人的城市,那儿的人好像对他很不友好,他对那些人笑啊笑啊,笑得嘴都疼了,可那些人却朝他高声尖叫,往他身上扔啤酒瓶、可乐罐和臭鸡蛋。他只好逃到海上来了,还是海上好,又美又安静,可是大脚怪在海上散步的时候,一只厚底鞋掉到海里去了。海獭卜卜跳正好在海底森林抓海贝,突然被罩在了鞋子里。海獭卜卜跳翻了几个筋斗,从那只鞋子里跳了出来。他围着鞋子转了几圈,觉得这个奇怪的东西做床倒是挺不错的,于是,一手提着海藻篮子,一手抓着那只鞋子,像个软木塞子一样从海底跳上了海面。大脚怪正为鞋子发愁呢,看见海獭卜卜跳拿着他的鞋子,高兴地说:“你是谁?谢谢你找回了我的鞋子。”“我是海獭卜卜跳,原来是你的鞋子啊,本来还想当床用呢。我还是睡我的旧床吧。”海獭卜卜跳说完就在一个巨大的海藻垫子上躺了下来,大脚怪这才发现他的旁边有很多巨大的海藻垫子。就找了一个在海獭卜卜跳旁边躺了下来。
