改革开放以来,顺德人民在县委、县政府的领导下,认真贯彻党的十一届三中全会以来的路线、方针和政策,努力工作,艰苦创业,使经济获得了稳定、持续的发展。1978年的工农业总产值是8.4亿元,1988年达到51.57亿元(按1980年不变价计算),提前12年实现了中央提出的翻两番的宏伟目标。1990年,全县的工农业总产值又达到66.1亿元,其中工业达61.8亿,工业所占的比例从1977年的59.3%上升到1990年的93.6%。利用先进的科学技术来推动经济的发展,在我县得到了充分的体现。在科技兴工、兴农中,我馆进行了一些探索,初步取得了较好的服务效果。
Since the reform and opening up, under the leadership of the county party committee and county government, the people of Shunde have conscientiously implemented the lines, guidelines and policies since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, worked hard and started their undertakings with painstaking efforts to bring about steady and sustained economic growth. In 1978, the gross output value of industry and agriculture was 840 million yuan, up to 5.157 billion yuan in 1988 (calculated at constant prices in 1980). By 12 years in advance, the grand goal of quadrupling was formulated by the Central Government. In 1990, the county’s total industrial and agricultural output value reached 6.61 billion yuan, of which 6.18 billion industrialized, the proportion of industry increased from 59.3% in 1977 to 93.6% in 1990. The use of advanced science and technology to promote economic development has been fully reflected in our county. In the prospering of agriculture through science and technology and revival of agriculture, our museum made some explorations and initially achieved good service results.
