20世纪80年代中期武汉市在全国较早开始了发展战略研究。20年来,随着改革开放的不断深入,武汉市的发展战略和武汉市的战略定位几经变迁,在中央提出中部崛起战略以后才被中央定格为“中部地区重要的战略支点”。笔者以为武汉市必须以中部地区重要战略支点理论为指导,密切与武汉城市圈内其他城市的分工协作联系,创新发展战略,主动与中部地区其他省会中心城市联系沟通,建立协调发展机制,承担起支撑中部崛起的重要历史使命。
In the mid 1980s, Wuhan started the development strategy research earlier in the country. Over the past 20 years, with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, the development strategy of Wuhan City and the strategic positioning of Wuhan City have undergone several changes before they were designated by the Central Government as “an important strategic pivot in the central region” after the Central Government proposed the strategy of central China’s rise. The author believes that Wuhan City must take the important strategic fulcrum theory in the central region as a guide and closely cooperate with other cities in the Wuhan metropolitan area for the division of labor and innovation and development strategy and take the initiative to communicate with other capital cities in the central region to establish a coordinated development mechanism to assume An Important Historical Mission Supporting the Rise of Central China
