1 Basic Situation of Network Security In December 2013, the overall situation of Internet cyber security was evaluated as good. The operation of basic network in China was stable with all the monitoring indicators on the backbone network of the Internet normal and no major or more cyber security incidents occurred. With regard to the Internet cybersecurity environment in our country, the number of new malicious code files captured has increased from November onwards in addition to the number of hosts controlled by domestic Trojans or botnets.
