Tocqueville pointed out that when the past no longer illuminates the future, people’s hearts will linger in the dark. History is always the mentor of our ever-changing humanity. History and history teaching should be understood in terms of life. One person can’t “utility” to “professional” or just “professional” or “professional” in the high exam questions to underestimate “history”. In a country where our historical resources are extremely rich, history education does not replace young students with the right world outlook, outlook on life, and values. It cannot be replaced by any other subject.
