以35年前的毛竹为研究对象,并以经气干的同龄、同径的新伐毛竹材作为对照,根据国际规定及相关试验方法,对两类试材在完全相同的实验条件下进行物理性质、力学性能、化学成份等的测定和对比分析,结果表明,影响竹材使用寿命的主要因素是水分的侵蚀和虫害,载荷作用的时间长短及性质对它的影响轻微,因此,在加工、保管和使用竹材的过程中要十分重视防水、防潮和防虫,保持竹材尺寸稳定,达到提高耐久性的目的。
