人类吃的食品下只仅是满足人新陈代谢的需要,食品还有另外一种功能——可以改变、制约甚至“培养”人的性情。其实,食品与人类性情有关已在人类身上得以体现,如西方人大都以肉食为主,因此,他们性格大都粗犷、豪放、外向。东方人以植物性食品为主,因此性格大都温顺、腼腆、内向。 不同的食品对人性情有不同作用。食绿叶为主的蔬菜,如白菜等有镇静作用;食葱与韭菜,可加强人的逻辑思维;食土豆,有镇静效果;食莴苣,可增强人的音乐才能;食胡萝卜,可形成人的抑郁情绪;食黄花菜可使人心情宽慰;食山楂能使人心情振奋;食大枣可使人心情稳定等。
Human beings eat food just to meet the needs of human metabolism, food has another function - can change, restrict or even “cultivate” human nature.
