从爆炸这个问题上,我们可以很容易地了解到普及科学知识的重要性。例如人们一般不了解有些化学蒸汽会爆炸,不了解面粉厂的面粉粉尘、铝制品厂的铅粉尘、亚麻厂的亚麻粉尘会爆炸,不了解其为什么会爆炸。由于缺少这些普及性的知识,当然也不会采取什么预防措施,结果就可能碰巧遇到爆炸的机会,遭到了严重的损失。同时,如果有的人有了这些知识,采取了防护措施,防止了爆炸事故,平平安安地过去了,这好像也没有什么了不起。可是若把两种情况对比起来,就可看出知识的重要性了。这是全世界经过多少年来在惨痛的教训中得到的结论。如不重视这个问题,就会损害我们的社会主义建设事业和人民的生命财产。为此,本刊将在这方面进行宣传。本文为第一篇。第二篇将介绍粉尘部份,第三篇爆炸事故情况介绍。希望同志们看后,写成读者意见寄来本刊。也可将问题寄来本刊,以便汇总请作者解答。
From the issue of explosions, we can easily understand the importance of popularizing scientific knowledge. For example, people generally do not understand some chemical steam explosion, flour mills do not understand the flour mill, aluminum products, lead dust, flax linen factory dust will explode, do not know why it explodes. Due to the lack of these universal knowledge, of course, no preventive measures will be taken. As a result, chances of explosion may have been hit and suffered serious losses. At the same time, it seems as if nothing had happened if some people had the knowledge, taken protective measures and prevented the accident from blasting in peace and quiet. However, if we compare the two situations, we can see the importance of knowledge. This is how many years the world has learned from the bitter lessons. If we do not attach importance to this issue, we will undermine our socialist construction and people’s lives and property. To this end, this publication will be publicized in this regard.
