耒阳市地处湘南,素有“荆楚名区”、“三湘古邑”的美誉。2010年是全面完成“十一五”规划,谋划“十二五”发展的关键一年,耒阳市深入贯彻落实科学发展观,围绕“承接珠三角、领跑大湘南”的发展目标,以项目建设为主,全面实施“一化三基”战略,以工促农,以城带乡,狠抓经济转型,加快改善民生,促进社会和谐,努力实现经济社会又好又快发展。
