傳訊制度的梳理對於解讀龍泉司法檔案意義重大.清代,民事審判的傳訊事務以差票公文的形式由差役執行並負責.民國初年,傳訊制度没有明確的法規依據,基層審判機構在司法實踐中不斷探索.浙江省龍泉縣在1916年以前仍沿襲清代差票公文形式並由承發吏執行,但承發吏逐漸不為被傳人是否到庭應訊負責.1916年以後出現了專用傳票,現代民事傳訊制度開始形成,但由於實行傳訊收費制度且費額較高,造成明顯弊端.清末形成的廢法《刑事民事訴訟法》與《大清民事訴訟律草案》,是民國初年司法實踐中探索傳訊制度的重要依據.
