“文化自觉”是中国著名社会学家费孝通(1910—2005)先生倡导的理论,它要求生活在一定文化中的人对其文化有“自知之明”,不要“复归”,同时也不主张“全盘西化”或“全盘他化”。本文以费孝通的理论为基础,在指出中国戏剧教育中有两种不良倾向——民族中心主义和民族自卑感后,提出中国戏剧教育者要正确认识中国戏剧在世界戏剧体系中的地位和作用,既不妄自尊大,也不妄自菲薄,保持传统,兼收并蓄。
