由上海市有色金属总公司下达的,上海有色合金线材厂承担的“提高低频感应电炉寿命的研究”课题,在上海市有色金属学会支持和帮助下,已于3月4日通过技术鉴定。在有色金属加工行业里,低频电炉作为一种熔化设备,由于其投资少、占地少、操作方便,已被广泛应用。然而,低频感应电炉的寿命往往达不到要求而直接影响生产进度,还会形成短期的筑炉到漏炉的恶性循环而大大增加工人的劳动强度。上海有色合金线材厂在研究课题过程中,分析了影响低频感应电炉使用寿命的主要原因,从中找到了提高炉龄的解决办法。他们从改变熔沟的形状和宽厚比入手,在截面积保持基本不变的条件下,设计了变断面
