成人高等教育在普通高校中的地位和作用 ,不仅直接关系到成人高等教育的质量和发展 ,关系到普通高校的整体建设和发展 ,也关系到我国高等教育大众化的进程和社会经济建设的进程。本文从普通高教和成人高教各自的特点 ,成人高等教育的重要性 ,普通高等教育面临的困境及其举办成人教育的必要与可能 ,世界普通高等学校发展趋势等方面进行论证得出结论 :为构建终身教育体系和学习化社会 ,为促进普通高校由封闭走向开放和高等教育的整体发展 ,普通高校必须重视办好成人教育以及为办好成人教育 ,高校必须作新的调整
The status and role of adult higher education in colleges and universities are not only directly related to the quality and development of adult higher education but also to the overall construction and development of higher education institutions as well as to the popularization of higher education and the progress of social and economic construction in our country.
