培养新型职业农民,是社会主义新农村建设的核心内容。近五年来江苏省扬中市农民培训工作成果突出,但也存在从业人员整体素质偏低、农民自主学习意识不强、培训层次有待提高等方面的不足。新时期的农民培训工作任重道远,必须多措并举,通过强化组织领导、多部门协调联动、科学制定方案、科学筛选学员、丰富培训形式、提高培训层次、建立培育基地等途径,努力建立健全高效的新型职业农民培训体系,适应新时期对新型职业农民培育工作的新要求。
