Dofasco Plating Line Coating Weight Supervision Control Coating weight control system for Canada’s Dofasco plating line No. 3 was put into operation in early 1986. The test data from 1985 to 1988 showed that the weight of an overplated coating on a Z180 electroplated product was reduced by a minimum of 43% The required percentage of coil decreased by 77%.
