对胡适反动的资产阶级唯心主义的批判,是我国思想界、文艺界的一件大事。胡适在政治上一贯是反革命、反人民的,这一点大家都还容易认识到。但他在学术上也一贯抱着反革命、反人民的目的,并一贯是美帝国主义文化侵略的走狗,则是经过这次群众性的批判和揭发之后,大家才更清楚地认识出来的。对胡适的批判不是和我们戏剧界毫无关系,或者关系不大的。胡适虽然不懂戏剧,但对于戏剧曾作过夸夸其谈的长篇大论,发表过许多谬论。因此在戏剧范围之内来清除胡适的流毒也就至为重要。我们以为至少在以下几方面必须首先进行我们的清扫工作:
