余江县第一小学创建于1912年。学校现有小学部及实验幼儿园,小学部在校生4000余人,在编教职工185名,是江西省首批实施素质教育示范学校。余江一小始终坚持“以人为本,全面育人,突出个性,和谐发展”的办学理念,实施高端办学策略,走内涵发展之路,从优化学校管理,深化教学改革,创新德育工作,推进艺术教育入手,探索了一条实施素质教育的新途径,树立了校风实、教风严、学风正、质量高的良好社会形象。
