Moderator Qin Jianjun: Twenty years ago, a scholar wrote an article on the standard of truth, which aroused strong repercussions in the vast land of China. In 20 years, under the impetus of this ideological revolution, earth-shaking changes took place both in the major rivers and the north and the north and across the Great Wall. Twenty years later, we recall the past and review the grand discussion on the criteria of truth. We are even more profoundly aware of its great historic role in opening up the mountain. In order to better understand the significance of the discussion of truth standards and to further emancipate the mind, this issue salon specially invited experts and some actual workers in Tianjin’s philosophy field to review the great significance of this great discussion and think that the majority of readers are active in thinking and looking forward to the future
