螺旋齿类刀具沟槽成型方法国内外基本有三种:1、双角铣刀法:即用直线形成螺旋面。这一传统的加工方法是国外三十年代所采用的,五十年代传入我国,至目前国内绝大多数工厂仍在沿用。其缺点在于是用直线形成螺旋面,所以在被加工刀齿的尖部形成0.2~0.5毫米长的干涉平面(如图1),从而迫使加大工件外径留磨量而浪费了加工工时。而且,用这种方法所得到的法截面的刀齿前刃面近似于直线,不但不锋利,也不利于卷屑。2、成型铣刀法(如图2):这是国外普遍采用的铣刀截形,国内大部分人也认为是最

The disadvantage is that the helical surface is formed by a straight line.
