湘中丘陵地区的土壤百分之六十是红壤,主要是由石灰岩、花岗岩、页岩、第四纪红色粘士等母质发育而成.在六百五十万亩稻田中,由红壤母质演发而成的水稻田又占绝大比重.除一部分经过长期的人为劳动得到改良外,大多数还存在酸度大、有机质不足、铁铝含量高、磷素营养特别是有效磷极度缺乏(据我所分析33个稻田土样,有效磷平均结果为3.2ppm)等缺点,致使作物生长不良,产量低.因此,如何提高这些稻田的产量,是值得我们迅速研究解决的重要问题.
Sixty percent of the soil in the Hilly Middle Hunan region is red earth, mainly composed of the parent material of limestone, granite, shale and Quaternary red sticks. In the 6.5 million mu of paddy field, The majority of paddy fields also have a large percentage of acidity, lack of organic matter, high content of iron and aluminum, and extremely lack of phosphorus nutrition, especially effective phosphorus (according to me 33 paddy soil samples were analyzed, and the average available phosphorus content was 3.2ppm), which led to poor crop growth and low yield. Therefore, how to improve the yield of these paddy fields is an important issue worth our prompt study and solution.
