80年代以来,在中国画坛活跃着一批中年画家,其中一些稍为年长的曾在“文革”之前即已崭露头角。也有一些直到80年代进入中年期才初露锋芒,但相当大的一部分画家却是在“文革”后期,即1972—1975年间登场的。由于在他们毕业前后适逢一场空前的政治动荡,无法从事正常的创作活动,刚从学校学到的一套本领除了写语录牌、画领袖像便无以为用。1972—
Since the 1980s, a group of middle-aged painters have been active in Chinese painting circles, some of whom were slightly older before they came to the forefront of the “Cultural Revolution.” Some did not show their talents until the mid-1980s, but a significant part of the painters appeared in the latter part of the Cultural Revolution from 1972-1975. As a result of their unprecedented political turmoil before and after their graduation, they were unable to engage in normal creative activities. The skills they have just learned from school can not be used in any way except writing a signboard and drawing a leader’s image. 1972-
