１９３７年７月─１９３８年１０月，日本帝国主义全面展开了对中国的战略进攻。中华民族到了最危险的关头，不愿做奴隶的人们，为争取民族的生存和解放，不计较个人、派别的利益得失，携手合作，坚决抵抗侵之敌，充分展现了中国人民深厚的民族感情和爱国之心，深层次的民族忧患意识和民族责任感，民族利益至上和团结合作，不屈不挠、勇于牺牲的革命英雄主义精神。
From July 1937 to October 1938, Japanese imperialism launched a full-scale strategic offensive on China. The Chinese people have come to the most dangerous moment and are unwilling to be slaves. In order to strive for the survival and liberation of their nation, they fully display the profound national feelings of the Chinese people, irrespective of the gains and losses of individuals and factions, and resolutely resist the enemies of invasion. And the spirit of patriotism, deep-seated national sense of suffering and national responsibility, the supremacy of national interests and the solidarity and cooperation, perseverance and courage in sacrificing the revolutionary heroism.
