2004年6月20日,粤剧界同仁爱戴敬重、高年93岁、从艺74度春秋的“叔”——罗品超在广州友谊剧院主演首本名剧《荆轲》后,接过了吉尼斯世界纪录有限公司特派员认可他超人业绩的证书,成为世界上活跃在戏剧舞台上年龄最大、从艺岁月最长的粤剧艺术表演大师。“叔”以他毕生智慧、心血献给了粤剧事业,谱写了一曲壮丽的生命之歌。一千多位观众有幸见证了这个难得一见的沸腾场面,不由赞叹,众口一词:“奇人!奇才!奇绩!……”
