In the course of growing up, children inevitably experience a stage of “generalization” in which all inanimate things are regarded as living and their plants and animals are regarded as being as conscious as human beings. Children like to compare other things with humanity, and anthropomorphic thinking is more natural for them. There are two forms of anthropomorphism: one is to give inanimate things the characteristics of human beings, and the other is to visualize oneself as the inanimate one, also known as in-person analogy.
