汽油供应迅速变紧以及美伊核僵局的升级,驱使3月上、中旬国际油价维持在60美元/桶左右的高水平范围;但一季度平均,WTI和布伦特油价分别比去年同期下跌5.31美元/桶和4.04美元/桶。炼油厂检修结束后油品产量的增加将使加工量提高,从而增加对原油的需求,致使原油供应趋紧。在此情况下,地缘政治紧张局势有可能使供应偏紧的局面被夸大,并进一步推涨油价。
