It was learned from the National Machinery Industry Planning Working Conference convened by the Industry Planning Division of the State Economic and Trade Commission that the development direction of China’s machinery industry in the coming period and the overall thinking for the “Tenth Five-Year” development will be determined. The direction of development of China’s machinery industry in the coming period of time is: to expand from the production services that are mainly means of production to the dual fields of production and consumption, from the importer of machinery and equipment to the export of machinery products.
