The diagnostic criterion of blood stasis syndrome (BSS) established in 1986(1) is a milestone in BSS differentiation of Chinese medicine (CM).However,different disease has its own characteristics in BSS,thus establishing a BBS criterion of disease-syndrome combination has significance in clinical and basic studies.(2) BSS is the most common syndrome type of CM in coronary heart disease (CHD),but there is not diagnostic criterion of BSS for CHD based on disease-syndrome combination to date.
