我厂五吨电炉的炉顶,同国内大多数炼钢分厂炼钢电炉一样,过去是采用高铝砖砌筑的。这种砖砌炉顶的主要缺点是:材料消耗多、砌筑费工费时、使用寿命低和成本高。为了改变这种状况,近几年来,国内的一些工厂开始采用水冷炉顶代替高铝砖砌炉顶,取得了良好的效果。根据兄弟厂的经验,1973年底我们开始设计五吨电炉的水冷炉顶,74年七月份先后安装在 6~#和 1~#电炉上进行试个产,到1975年三月底,两台水冷炉顶的使用寿命都已超过1000次,目前仍在继续使用中,预计可用到21500次以上。
