福建与台湾隔海相望,受这种特殊地缘关系的影响,两地之间的交往历来十分密切。尤其在清代,自康熙二十三年(1684)至光绪十一年(1885)的二百年间,台湾被划为福建省下辖的一个府,归由福建地方政府统理,从而使闽台之间一度形成行政隶属关系。这期间,福建地方政府为了对台湾行使管辖权、以及有效地治理台湾,曾采取相应的措施,切实保证闽台两地能够及时地互通各种信息。
Fujian and Taiwan across the sea, affected by this special geostrategy, exchanges between the two places have always been very close. Especially in the Qing Dynasty, Taiwan was designated as one of the prefectures under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province during the two hundred and twenty years from the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the 16th year (1884) to the reign of Emperor Guangxu in 1885, and was governed by the local government of Fujian Province so that Fujian and Taiwan once formed between the administrative affiliation. During this period, in order to exercise jurisdiction over Taiwan and to govern Taiwan effectively, the Fujian local government has taken corresponding measures to ensure that Fujian and Taiwan can exchange information in a timely manner.
