去江南水乡古镇同里,南园茶社的香茗是必品的。沿着太平桥畔一条湿漉漉的青石小弄而行,穿崇本堂、遗老堂,过吉利桥、长庆桥,有“江南第一茶楼”之誉的古色古香的南园茶社便在眼前了。南园茶社始建于清末,坐落于同里史上前八景之一的“南市晓烟”景致之中。据史料记载,早在明初,南园茶社一带,每当东方破晓,河埠舟楫争泊,出水鱼虾起市,往来客商云集,是一幅生动的水乡晓市风情画。由此,被文人墨客称作“南市晓烟”。
