以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点,全面实施素质教育是当前基础教育改革的重点,也是跨世纪教育变革的根本任务之一。近年来,我国中小学教育教学改革虽取得了长足进展,但在传统观念的束缚和升学考试的重压下,学校教育特别是课堂教学中长期存在的一些问题并未得到根本解决,这一切不仅造成学生学习兴趣下降,学习负担加重,探索精神萎缩,而且极大地妨碍了学生整体素质的全面提高,影响了教育方针的全面贯彻落实,影响了跨世纪一代新人的培养。
Focusing on cultivating students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, comprehensive implementation of quality education is the focus of current basic education reform, and it is also one of the fundamental tasks of cross-century educational reform. In recent years, although China’s primary and secondary education and teaching reforms have made great strides, under the constraints of traditional concepts and the weight of the entrance examinations, some long-standing problems in school education, especially in classroom teaching, have not been fundamentally resolved. Students’ interest in learning has decreased, their learning burdens have increased, and their mental health has shrunk. This has also greatly hampered the overall improvement of the overall quality of students and has affected the full implementation of the education policy, affecting the cultivation of new generations across the century.
