从设计方法和原则的不同来看,国外照明设计师来自不同的专业背景,大部分都有工程实践包括剧场照明设计方面的经验。在过去十几年中,一些发达国家里能够得到认可的照明设计方案,大多出自大学或研究院的专家之手。现在,像美国的宾州大学、科罗拉多大学、伦塞勒大学等一些研究院均开设《照明设计》这门课。一般来说,专业照明设计实践可分为住宅和商业两部分,后者被视为工业中最流行的。
Different from the design methods and principles, foreign lighting designers from different professional backgrounds, most of them have experience in engineering practice, including theater lighting design. In the past dozen years, the lighting design that can be approved in some developed countries, mostly comes from the expert of university or institute. Now, some institutes such as the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, the University of Colorado, and Rensselaer University have created the course “Lighting Design.” In general, professional lighting design practice can be divided into residential and commercial parts, the latter is considered the most popular in the industry.
