In recent years, Qingpu County has persisted in taking the path of accelerating beyond the outside world and using foreign capital to develop an outward-oriented economy, showing a good situation of sustained and healthy development and in a leading position in the suburbs and counties. In 1992, our county approved 105 foreign-funded enterprises, with a total investment of 120 million U.S. dollars and an agreement on the use of foreign capital of 68.7 million U.S. dollars. In 1993, 218 foreign-funded enterprises were approved with a total investment of 486.9 million U.S. dollars and an agreement on the use of foreign capital of 323.98 million U.S. dollars.
