目的论是德国功能派翻译理论中的核心理论,为翻译研究开辟了一个新视角。目的论认为翻译行为所要达到的目的决定整个翻译行为的过程,即目的决定方法。对外宣传翻译的目的是向外国读者介绍中国,树立我国良好的国际形象。译者可以根据这一目的,在充分考虑译文语体、读者感受以及译语文化等因素的同时,灵活采用翻译策略,以确保外宣翻译的预期功能和目的在译入语文化中顺利实现。
Skopos theory is the core theory in German functionalist translation theory, which opens up a new perspective for translation studies. Skopos theory holds that the purpose to be achieved by the act of translating determines the process of the entire act of translating, that is, the method of purpose. The purpose of publicity and translation is to introduce China to foreign readers and establish a good international image of our country. According to this purpose, the translator can flexibly adopt the translation strategy while fully considering the stylistic features of the target language, the reader’s feelings and the target language culture, so as to ensure that the intended function and purpose of the goal of the translator’s interpretation are successfully realized in the target language.
