首都的艺术舞台,将有一件令人兴奋的盛事,那就是大型音乐舞蹈史诗《中国革命之歌》,为庆祝国庆三十五周年,即将举行盛大规模的公演。《中国革命之歌》是继《东方红》之后的又一部大型史诗性的音乐舞蹈作品。这部规模宏大的歌舞艺术作品,从酝酿创作到排练演出,历时达两年;参加演出的首都音乐舞蹈团体,共十七个,还在全国范围内调集了六十多个单位的主要艺术骨干、知名编导人员、作曲家、词作家、舞台美术家和优秀青年舞蹈家、歌唱家,人数达一千五百人。这样大规模的音乐舞蹈创作和演出,是八十年代我国音乐舞蹈发展水平的一次集中的反映,
