1992年9月,台湾地区奥美广告公司内部招聘版上贴出了一张招聘启示,内容大致是鼓励员工到北京、上海的分公司去工作。可是招聘贴出很久,也没有人应征。后来,公司高层就跟一些员工谈话,建议他们以支援北京奥美的名义去参与一个比稿,时间是3个月到半年。这样一批经验比较丰富的台湾广告人就来到了北京——这个他们看来很陌生的城市,拉开了台湾广告人进军内地广告市场的序幕。
September 1992, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Agency in Taiwan posted a recruitment hiring inspiration, the content is generally encouraged employees to Beijing, Shanghai branch to work. However, recruitment posted for a long time, no one candidates. Later, senior executives talked to some employees and suggested that they should participate in a draft in the name of supporting Beijing Ogilvy & Mather, from three months to six months. Such a group of more experienced Taiwanese adversaries came to Beijing - a city they seem unfamiliar with - opening the prelude of Taiwanese ad marketers to the mainland advertising market.
