建设海峡西岸经济区新战略的提出,进一步明确了福建发展定位,为福建服务祖国统一大局和全国发展大局指明了方向。建设海峡西岸经济区是福建融入全球化和区域经济一体化的重大决策,它的发展将成为中国区域经济的新亮点。落实建设海峡西岸经济区这一发展战略,必须充分发挥福建港口资源优势,做好港口建设的大文章。正确理解建设社会主义和谐社会与建设海峡西岸经济区的关系,将二者有机统一起来,相互促进、共同发展。
The proposal of building a new strategy for the economic zone on the western coast of the Taiwan Straits further clarified the development orientation of Fujian and pointed out the direction for Fujian to serve the overall situation of the motherland and the overall development of the country. The construction of the economic zone on the western coast of the Taiwan Strait is a major policy that Fujian will integrate into the integration of globalization and regional economy.
