Like all Western countries, Yangming is not a mature academic field in the United States. However, since the mid-20th century, there have been a number of scholars who have tried their best to present the philosophical achievements of this Confucian person throughout his life and his position in Chinese history to the Western world. On the one hand, it can be said that this is part of the achievement made by overseas and Chinese sinologists since the 20th century in their efforts to spread China’s long history of ideas abroad.
