如今的媒体形式可谓多种多样:除了传统的报纸、广播、电视,还有新技术催生的新闻网站、手机媒体等数字媒体。这些新兴媒体的迅速崛起,引起传统媒体特别是纸媒的高度关注和警惕。在自身不断改革创新与同质媒体竞争的同时,如何应对新媒体的凌厉攻势,是纸媒必须思考解决的问题。新媒体的不断涌现和壮大是社会发展进步的表现,藐视和打压都不是正确的选择。经过几番博弈,纸媒已经认识到自身的态度将决定自己的命运。尽量放大自己原创新闻的优势,增加信息的展现形式,积极探讨利用新技术将自身优势与新媒体的优势结合,成为许多纸媒的竞争策略。在各自为战的同时,纸媒也意识到报业的主体产品——原创新闻并没有给自己带来应有的经济利益,原因之一是网络等新媒体低价甚至免费获得纸媒的内容,再次开发增值并与纸媒竞争。“报纸内容联盟”,既是传统媒体捍卫自己利益的战术,也是纸媒追求可持续健康发展的战略诉求。我们希望通过业界的努力寻求一个纸媒与新兴媒体合作共赢的媒体发展之路。

At the same time as fighting each other, the paper media also realizes that the main product of the newspaper industry - original news does not bring its own economic benefits due to one of the reasons that the new media such as the Internet can even obtain the content of the paper media at a low price or even free of charge. Develop value added and compete with paper media. “Newspaper Content Alliance” is both a tactic of traditional media to defend its own interests and a strategic demand of paper media for pursuing sustainable and healthy development.
