I. INTRODUCTION The THERMIT-2 program is a water reactor transient subchannel analysis program developed by MIT in the early 1980s using a three-dimensional two-fluid model. It can accurately analyze the operation conditions of complex heap such as serious blockage, reverse flow, reverse flow of vapor and liquid, which can not be handled by one-dimensional sub-channel programs, and these actual conditions have a great influence on the safe operation of the core.
