Preface The performance characteristics of bentonite wet sand is closely related to the volume and weight of the compact state, the size distribution of the original sand and the addenda (such as pulverized coal). The properties of the test sand are generally measured in a laboratory-familiar manner. All tests have stringent requirements. From the many data obtained from the measurements, the most important data are collected by suitable means and collated for production.
