本文研究中药生地和糖皮质激素联合应用对家兔脑垂体和肾上腺皮质功能和形态的影响。家兔单用地塞米松时、血浆皮质酮浓度明显低于基数值(P<0.001):生地与地塞米松合用2、4、6周时,皮质酮浓度逐渐上升,用药4周与2周比较及6周与4周比较,皮质酮水平均有显著升高,P 值分别<0.001及0.01。病理学观察亦显示两药联合使用,对兔的垂体和肾上腺皮质形态学未见明显改变。结果提示中药生地能减轻由糖皮质激素对兔垂体—肾上腺皮质系统功能和形态的影响。
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of joint application of traditional Chinese medicine and glucocorticoids on function and morphology of pituitary and adrenal cortex in rabbits. Plasma corticosterone concentrations were significantly lower than baseline values in rabbits with dexamethasone alone (P<0.001): Corticosterone concentrations increased gradually at the age of 2,4, and 6 weeks between the application of dexamethasone and the placebo. Comparisons were made between 4 weeks and 2 weeks. Compared with 6 weeks and 4 weeks, corticosterone levels increased significantly, with P values <0.001 and 0.01, respectively. Pathological observations also showed that the combination of the two drugs did not significantly alter the morphology of pituitary and adrenal cortex in rabbits. The results suggest that the habitat of Chinese herbs can reduce the effects of glucocorticoids on the function and morphology of the pituitary-adrenocortical system in rabbits.
