航空酒店AVIATON&HOTEL澳航将为乘客提供IPad娱乐澳大利亚最大型及历史最悠久的国营航空公司澳洲航空(Qantas)计划将在年底前在班机上为乘客提供iPad服务代替椅背屏幕,为其乘客提供旅途中的娱乐服务。据介绍,这项航班娱乐服务名为QStreaming,包含了长达200小时以上的可选内容,如电影和电视剧等。为实现这个计划,澳航计划购买5000部以上的iPad。为迎接iPhone及iPad这些iOS设备,澳航将放弃使用黑莓手机。公司的首席信息官Pau Jones认为iPhone能够提供一种“人性化的界面,不但能够轻松使用电子邮件、通讯录及日历,而且还能够满足澳航对安全的所有需求”。乘客将通过机载无线网络接受娱乐服务。分析人士认为,iPad和Qstreamnig能够为乘客带来极大的便利,可能会引起其他航空公司的效仿。

Pau Jones, the company’s chief information officer, believes the iPhone offers a “user-friendly interface for easy access to e-mail, contacts and calendars, as well as all Qantas’ security needs.” Passengers will receive entertainment services over the airborne wireless network. Analysts believe that, iPad and Qstreamnig can bring great convenience for passengers, may cause other airlines to follow suit.
