27年前,一个嗜爱古钱的老人将自己几十年用心血收藏的近千种共6344枚古钱捐献给了国家,这批捐献的古钱品种齐全,包括西周到新中国成立前大约三千多年间的各个朝代的铜、银、纸币,其中有战国时期燕国的“尖首刀布”、魏国的“安邑二圻”、王莽时期的“金错刀币”、北宋的“重和通宝”等当时我国并不多见的古钱珍品,以及日本、朝鲜、越南等国的古钱币。这位老人就是时任陕西省博物馆(现碑林博物馆)保管部主任的古钱币收藏家陈尊祥。

The old man was Chen Zun-xiang, the ancient coin collector who was then the director of the custodial department of Shaanxi Provincial Museum (now the Beilin Museum).
