This paper introduces the reform practice and achievements made by the centralized control operation specialty of thermal power plant in Wuhan Electric Power Institute of Technology from the aspects of building professional characteristics, strengthening the construction of teaching staff, emphasizing practice teaching and strengthening the cooperation between school and enterprise. It also strengthens the cooperation between school and enterprise to achieve win-win idea.
