看完影片《都市里的村庄》(以下简称《村庄》),觉得编导在反映生活的真实、探求艺术创造的新路等方面,是很下了一番苦功夫的。但是,就总体来看,特别是从艺术表现手法着眼,我认为影片的探索却未必是很成功的。或许编导想摆脱创作上的一些俗套,尽量避免掺进理性的、观念的成分,只是在生活节奏的自然行进中去感染观众,于是就没有着意去表现某种主题思想,而是随着新华社记者舒朗的活动,叙写了现实中的一组生活故事以及人与人之间的关系:电焊女工丁小亚是个很老实很本分的青年,她以纯真的热情、出色的成绩获得劳模荣誉后,周围不少人却明显地跟她疏远了,有讽刺的,有嫉妒的,更有作弄的;虽有个别的同情者,可又爱莫能助,
