当今绝大多数福特汽车外形的塑造者,福特欧洲设计总监马丁·史密斯(Martin=Smith)将于7月1日离开这一效力十年的岗位,由福特位于美国的战略概念集团(Strategic=Concepts Group)负责人乔尔·皮亚斯科夫斯基(Joel Piaskowski)接任。尽管名义上是欧洲设计的负责人,但史密斯对福特最大的贡献在于主导完成了正在被福特汽车广泛应用的设计语言——动态设计(Kinetic Design)。该语言是“一个福特”策略得以执行的重要保证,其以大进气格栅、向后倾斜的前灯和锐利流畅的粗线条为主要特征,涉及车型包括新福克斯、嘉年华、蒙迪欧和S-Max等车型。
Martin = Smith, Ford’s European design director for most of today’s Ford automaker, will leave this decade of effectiveness on July 1 with Ford’s Strategic = Concepts Group leader Joel Piaskowski takes over. Although nominally the head of European design, Smith’s greatest contribution to Ford is the dominance of the design language Kinetic Design, which is being widely used by Ford Motor Company. The language is an important guarantee for the implementation of the “One Ford” strategy, featuring a large grille, rearwardly inclined headlights, and sharp, bold bold lines that cover models including the New Focus, Carnival, Mondeo and S -Max other models.
