我区位于首都西南郊,境内多山,已往教育基础薄弱,办学条件很差,400多所中小学校舍,大多建于解放初期或60年代,标准低、质量差,各种教学设备也很简陋。党的十一届三中全会以来,随着农村经济的发展,我们明确了要振兴经济,必须发展教育,迅速改变学校落后面貌。基于这样的认识,近几年我们采取措施,努力改善办学条件,促进了教育的发展。
